vintage"Memphis Auto Wah" troubles

hi there, old newbie here. I was on the Beavis site and it recommended I come here for tech help.
I aquired an old (70's?) Mephis  (Coron?) Auto Wah and it has issues. It did not seem to work at first. I replaced the battery lead but the blue wire came off something...not sure what. If I touch the blue wire in various places around the trimmer I can hear it oscilate when guitar plugged in and played.
I should have taken a picture first. The brown wire came off the one pot...volume I believe. I told you I was a noob.
Any advice would be great.
I have some really good pic's. I need to figure out how to get posted on here yet.
thought someone may be interested in them too.
