Memory man vero project -- any suggestions?

I'm really interested in building up a DIY deluxe memory man type delay...hopefully something with closer to 650-700ms of delay time, and modulation.  But apart from some of the current projects at Mdbean, I cannot seem to find anything like this (and the current madbean projects aren't really like the DMM...not counting the old Dirtbag project, for which I would need to etch my own board, something I'm not ready for yet).

I'm wondering if anyone can suggest something, maybe a veroboard project, along these lines...?
