hey y'all

has anyone tried either one of these chips to power effects ?
i'm looking for a good charge pump with low noise but i read that the max1044 had a pretty limited use (low output current), and i also would like to find something with a higher output voltage, up to 30V or more.

if anyone knows about something, i'd be glad to hear about that!

cheers

Scroll down a little.  We have been hammering on this subject for several days in regards to using a charge pump IC as a voltage inverter.  Mostly concerned with chip noise and how to fight it.  The answer to your question seems to be LT1054 although I haven't personally used one yet.  A more robust MAX1044 is the ICL7660S.

I used to really be with it!  That is, until they changed what "it" is.  Now, I can't find it.  And, I'm scared!  --  Homer Simpson's dad
