Forum FV 1 project problem.

Hi everyone I have some problem about the forum's FV 1 project:

I don't quit understand the different between two schematic (with and without the gain output buffer)
Secondly i don't see the pot for mix how can I control the dry/wet signal?

the mix control is done within the chip, it uses one of the three pot inputs on the spin. what dont you understand on the buffer?
