Is anybody familiar with the site above. I tried opening the pcb file for the fulldrive mosfet2 but wasn't compatible with ExpressPCB. What program will open the .pcb files offered on this website?

When you use google translate the Japanese writing states:

PCBE is required in order to view the PCB ● zip file.
Please click here to download the PCBE. → PCBE downloads
please refer to here on how to print the ● PCBE. → How to print PCBE

Hi - thanks
Yes, I did use the google translate before but the software download is in japanese the instructions are incorrectly displayed so you cannot us the translator to install it
The fulldrive.pcb doesnt appear to be a .pcb or gerber file
I'm wondering if there is any other software which will open it?

PRR

It's almost a plain ASCII text file. Some "NAME=" attributes are gibberish to me, probably Japanese in an encoding my plain text editor does not know. The rest is ASCII letters and numbers with fairly obvious meaning.

Perhaps someone will recognize the file syntax and know how it might be modified or force-fed to another application.

I was able to get all the way to the download point for PCBE_0.58.4_setup.exe from the link I posted above.

The board files are in the PCBE program....so if you want to access them.....download the program.

Hi
Since my last posting I downloaded the japanese software and managed to open the file but as the menu was in japanese it was difficult to do what i had intended, which was to at least print out the file in black and white
- armdnrdy did you managed to export the file so it could be read by any english language pcb software. I couldn't find an option for that?

I managed to print out the pcb board tracks but they were very wide with very little space between them and no hole guide. Not the usual track and pad arrangement. I think I'll give it a miss.
