Hi there. I'm just messing around with my Crybaby Wah, changing some resistors an converting it to true bypass. I'd like to add output buffer to it so it interacts better with my fuzzes. And now the question, I don't have any JFET on hand so can I just move input buffer (which I will desoler anyway) in the same form to the output. I'm talking about moving the whole violet part on the schematic below between the lug of wah pot and output jack.
Any reasons why I shouldn't do that and just use this MPSA13 buffer there?

There have been a number of threads about wha output buffers
you can try a 10k resistor in series at the output
Have you done a search at this site?

Sure did. Most of them I've seem were about putting simple JFET one at the output. Can't find anything where someone tries to do the same thing as myself...

10k resistor at the wah output, or 10k series at the fuzz input, gets my vote...

The impedance at the point where you are trying to connect the buffer is low enough to use a bipolar buffer - you don't get much benefit from a JFET and you can design the bias circuit without having to take variable gate-to-source voltage into account.  You always know what the Vbe of a transistor is.  The input buffer design looks OK for the output, but rather than excise it and transplant it to the output, just duplicate it and have input and output buffers.
