I just finished building a Fuzz Factory on vero that has been verified. But I had a question.
I connected everything up and it works, but it says Rev1 reversed "stab" and "drive" pots.
does that mean that they are correct for this layout or does that mean that I have to switch them.
what I mean by switching them is to have the correct value pot in the right spot if the "stab" and "drive" are in the
wrong order in the layout.
Also I cant seem to get the image button to work?
Google: Zvex Fuzz Factory, Rev1

Thanks

I only did a quick search but couldn't find the layout you mentioned. The note probably meant the stab and drive pots had been connected so they worked in reverse. Stab should give normal fuzz sounds when turned clockwise and weirdness when turned anticlockwise drive should get more distorted as turned clockwise. If they work backwards reverse the connections to the outer lugs.

The image button lets you link to images on the internet you can't attach an image from your own machine.

This is the layout I used (bottom of page)

The layout in Kipper's link is correct.
The only thing that is not drawn clearly in that picture is the wiring of the Comp to Drive pot.
The left pin of the Comp pot should be connected to the left pin of the Drive pot.
The middle and right pins of the Comp pot should be connected to each other.

Ok. So I tested it and the layout was good. I used Harald Sabro's layout based on M. Chittum's schematic. Rev 1. I used 9mm mounted pots and everything works the way it should. Since there is so much room in the box (1590b) I'm going to add a BMP tone stack with LB1 boost with a separate foot switch. I might still have room for a battery.
