I know a few of you must have built this.
What is your opinion of it?
Worthwhile build or a waste of good componants?
I'm thinking of tackling it.
Are there any good mods?

Heres a link. I hope this works, I've tried with tonepad links before that didnt work. Haha

Clone of a Boss CE-2.
Sounds like a Boss CE-2.
Is louder than bypass, just like a Boss CE-2.

I did the vibrato and intensity mods and found them both useful - the stock sound is nothing remarkable, but I might not be the best person to judge as I think 99% of chorus pedals sound the same anyway.  ;D

I haven't built this one. I did build the Tonepad Small Clone and I can highly recommend it.

+1 ^^^  ;D

Much deeper chorus than the CE-2 and you can do a LOT of mods to tailor it to your liking.

I'm with the others on this one, Rich.  Go for the Small Clone.  It's f:icon_twisted::icon_twisted::icon_twisted:ing brilliant.

I had the stock to make the tonepad.

Louder then bypass??? What do you mean? I own three CE-2's.....two japan one tiwan...I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary volume wise.

small clone? SMALL CLONE????

go for it dude, if you're gonna do it, build a CLONE THEORY.

way cooler than a small clone, and a lot more that can be done with it stock, never mind all the mods...

That's how I've always found them to be! Maybe it's to do with how I EQ my amp.

Rich do the small clone ill send a pcb for it and the stereo mod. Just make sure and use a 4pdt swig h so the stereo line works in bypass as well as engaged. It sounds nice.
