Has anyone heard of this pedal? Any thoughts on how they accomplish getting that sound? Seems like it's something like a dual resonant filter, like two wah pedals in parallel with each at a different resonant frequency.

I've been wondering about this myself. There is much talk about these things on the steel guitar forums (mostly positive that I've read). But not much said about how it is accomplished. I've heard some guys say they can accomplish the same thing or close to it with an EQ pedal. For some reason I thought compression was involved, but I'm not sure if I read that somewhere or it was just my imagination. Hope someone knows what's up.

Sounds like a resonant band pass filter to me, from reading the manual that seems like the timbre control changes the band pass frequency and the tone is a treble cut.

Hmm... that might just be what they are doing.
