My coworkers husband owns a PCB fab that deals mostly in flexible PCBs. She brought in some stuff to show me - missile guidance system, glove sensors for people who have severed nerves in their hands, the cup shape PCB for the new cup thing that tells you what your drinking, calories and whatnot from the apple offshoot company. Hopefully sometime we DIYer's can get access to some of these flex things. Crazy stuff.

Still remarkably cool for those that don't enjoy Ferric if it was a little cheaper (it's still pretty cheap, but it costs as much as 2 bottles of ferric) I would probably buy one.
