Hi all!
PROJECT
I am having my personal struggle to create my first guitar loop pedal.

IDEA
i bought a cheap ebay module which repeats a recorded music/guitar part.
i connected the INPUT signal to both ebay loop module and pedal OUTPUT
i connected the OUTPUT of the module to the OUTPUT of the pedal
In theory, I should hear my guitar playing through the direct connection to the pedal OUTPUT + I should hear the loop pedal signal through its connection to the pedal OUTPUT.

PROBLEM
I cannot control the volumes at all!
Everything is connected together. It works in a basic way. BUT I cannot find a combination of resistances/pots to control the volumes of loop and direct signals :icon_cry:
Can you please suggest a combination of resistances/pots in the INPUT/OUTPUT of the direct+loop signals so I can control the volumes?

PS: Just to imagine what is happening: when I reduce the guitar volume, the loop signal is reduced as well~!!!which means that the loop signal reaches my guitar pick!!

Can you put together a drawing spelling out exactly what you're doing?  That might make it easier to see where this is going wrong...I can picture a couple of things right off, but am not totally sure how you're hooked up...

I am missing some knowledge on passive mixing and splitting  :icon_cry:
I don't require some great audio quality, I just want to jam and practice

Passive mixing rarely works as well as you want it to. You could build a really simple active mixer/blender though.

Here is the Beavis Audio Passive Mixer too
