help finding another transistore for mxr noise gate(2n3819 instead of 2n5485)

hi guys
I planned to make mxr noise gate(tone pad layout) but there is a problem, there is no 2n5485 or 2n5952 in my country. I also searched but I could not found any of following :
2n5484
sk30a
2n5457
the only transistor that I found was 2n3819 but is there any one to help me how can I add 2n3819 instead of 2n5485/2n5952?

BF245B should "fit" within the spec of 2N5485. IOW, there is some overlap of BF245B spec with 2N5485, you can google it, look mainly for Vgs and Idss params.

From a quick glance at the schem, I'd assume that you would look for a fet with Vgs of 2.5-3V.

I think I would ignore making it because I could not find those fet and my country is not supported by internet shops.

It seems that I didn't word it clearly enough, so here's a bit more elaborated "statement":


It should be possible to use a 2N3819 in this circuit, IF you find one that has the Vgs cutoff voltage at 2'5-3V. To do this, you would have to buy a "pack", say of 20 or 30 fets (2n3819 in your case) and measure them and select those who would indeed have the proper Vgs cutoff voltage for the mxr circuit.

IOW, imho you will need to select a 2n3819 that has a bit lower-than-typical Vgs for it's specs.
