Welcome to the forum!

A few tips:

Both of your threads are in the wrong sub forums. This one is Misc Talk in the Members only section. Your other one is in the pictures section, where people post pictures of their builds, not ask for help. Look what other posts are in the what subforums to see where it is appropriate for posting. There aren't any rules to where you should post things, but if you want help, you might as well post in the right places.

Using all caps in the title or making one giant string of works surrounded by #'s does attract attention, but in a bad way. I wouldn't have clicked on this thread if I didn't recognize your name in the PM you sent.

I'm not sure if you belong to other forums, but this one does not have thousands of members floating through helping at all times of the day. You mention there were 75 people that looked at your previous thread that didn't help - that is going to happen here and people will help when they can. They aren't ignoring you. You can't be pushy or people will not respond at all. Duck may be in Australia, but this is a forum so the time differences aren't a big deal. Sometimes you can get the help you need in a thread in one day, sometimes a week, sometimes someone will bump it 5 years later.

Making another thread about the same thing is usually frowned upon unless it's right away when you realize it's in the wrong forum.

Making a first post to introduce yourself isn't required, but it is something that can be done and is a good way to get aquainted with the forum.

This forum is packed to the rafters with kind and generous people - old sages and people who have just bought their first soldering iron. Civility and respect seem to be the rules. I'm speaking mostly for what I observed, not for the Aron or anyone else in the forum.

There is no hazing or vitural bullying unless it's between Government Lacky and Arcane Analog  :icon_lol:

Lurco

Maybe a moderator can move it to here: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?board=2.0
Or Rooster72 starts anew using the following link: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?action=post;board=2.0 to make sure it appears in the right forum section.

Yes, I was trying to be more or less cheeky and funny, but as I have figuered out over the years text on a screen looks rather black and white, no pun intended. I will admit that the way this all unfolded had me a bit agitated with myself and a bit of sarcasm came through. I guess I felt like the new guy bitting off more than he could chew. Wasnt gonna get help because he didnt start with a simple booster. Truth is I didnt even have this site as a resource. I had no idea how huge this hobbyall is. Pretty awesome. I was just in a panic when I fired it up and ?  Wekl it didnt blow up and the leds stayed lit.  Anyway I couldnt seem to figuer out wher ro even post. So Im gonna mess around an etch a pcb for the Cricket and Im workung on Bazz Fuss at the moment , fairly straight forward, I think, dont have sockets to make it interchangeable , so I am fabing some that I think shall work fine and look like hell. Lol
Thanks for the advice, This is a great forum, a lot of information to take in. Carbide drill bits ? I wont even ask, I found a oage on them...
