Hello,
i just finished one real mctube 12ax7 pedal for a friend. He is playing bass. The pedal working good and have a good amount of basswith the stock parts. My question is can i add a bass boost switch (something like the B15 ultra low switch)?
what do you suggest in capacitance and where to stick it?

Thanks

"The "2.2nFd" might have to be 5n or 10n to get ULTRA-low. The 2.2n will WORK, but perhaps "too well".

is it better on the second stage or in the first stage to add the cap?I saw in the ampeg B15 schematic where i got the idea, that they used the cap in the first stage.

Copying the B15 is not a bad plan.

But because the McTube needs that heavy 1Meg:100K cut-down at the end, you can also try it as shown, and less re-working.
