Hi!

I'm interested in building this 9v DI Box and I have the following question.
Can this DI be powered with Phantom Power?
Do I need

The circuit runs on 9V, per the schematic, but you can probably run it higher without much problems. How high? Depends on the tolerance of the components. The electros you can make as high voltage as you want or can find. The TL072's data sheet says +/- 18V as the max supply. So I guess you could do 36V with ground and 18V as the bias (or the GND in the schematic). How you get that from 48V? That's up to you to find out!

A problem could be the amp supplied by the phantom. You'd need enough amps to feed both the circuit and the mic. Find out how the amps provided by the phantom power then see if you have enough for the circuit and the mic plus some extra.

Entire power system has to be re-thunk.

You can find Phantom DI plans if you look around.
