The Green Ringer section on the Mutron Octave Divider

I was just looking over the schematic for the Octave Divider (well, BYOC's clone of it, anyway), and I saw that some of the values in the Green Ringer section were a little different...notably, the 68k resistors have been replaced with 56k resistors.  Any particular reason for this change?
