Stomp controlled Blend?

I built a pedal for a friend and wanted to add the feature of a blend but have it turned on and off by an extra foot switch (true bypass of course!)....  and I screwed something up (of course!).... all it does is reduce the volume of the signal rather then blend in a clean....here is the blender that I used.....

any advice on this idea? I'm sure its simple enough but apparently not for me.

If the peanut-butter and jelly blend don't taste right....

Try the peanut butter straight,

Try the jelly straight.

By your description, I suspect the peanut-butter has gone off (there's no output from the buffer; mis-wired or shorted).

it was working fine until i wired in a switch....so somehow i dropped the sandwich.
