Filter effect guidance (like Electric Mistress but not so complicated)

Hi,

I'm looking for some help to find a Filter (alla Electric Mistress) with no rage, just a fixed o manually adjusted filter schematic that isn't as hard as building a new complete Electric Mistress

What does rage mean?

Could you just disconnect the LFO from the Electric Mistress (such as the filter matrix mode?)

is there a way to get the same FILTER MATRIX (or very similar effect) in another way as I would want to avoid building a 90% of an Electric Mistress for just the Filter sound

You might build any analog delay (you choose your favourite, in term of easy building  ), swapping MN3005 with MN3007 (or MN3205 with MN3207)

I didn't understand how to transform a delay into a Flanger


would the Mutron III filter (replacing the LDRs with Pots) work?

The Electric Mistress "filter" is a Comb Filter.

You build this by mixing a Delayed signal with a straight signal. Some frequencies cancel.

You set the filter frequencies by changing the delay. With common BBD delays you change the clock frequency. On the EM this is done with a pot connected to the clock oscillator.

When you have all that, a Flanger is just a few extra parts. In other words, what you want is already 80%-90% of an Electric Mistress.
