Does anyone have any suggestions for wiring some 3080 metal cans to DIPs?  I am having to test some and would like to know if anyone has any information that would be helpful.

I found this,

Why not just bend the leads and fit them into an 8-pin DIP socket?  ;)

EDIT: You question is confusing. Do you want to fit a metal can into a DIP fitting -OR- do you want to put a DIP into a metal can fitting? The first is easy.... no so much for the latter  :-\

That was quick.  Original metal can was used.  I need to replace/test with the much easier DIP style.

I am looking for anything that would look nice and clean.  It looks like wiring some sockets with small wire will be the quickest, just not the prettiest.

I think you may have provided your own answer.   :)   I'd go with the link that you posted, unless you fancy etching a sub-postage-stamp board yourself and your time is worth less than $2.75.
