Hi, just came across a nice wizard for creating HP/LP/Band-pass filters with opamps - calculates values and shows frequency plots, schematics etc.

Nice link, thanks! I can see where we might find a use for this :)   

I wonder how using a "less than recommended quality" opamp, like a TL072, would affect the results?

Doubt it would be a problem for audio ;)

I would think an op amp with limited high frequency performance like an LM741 or µA741 would give worse response than a TL07X.  It would show as a departure from the planned performance as the frequency rises.  When designing with an op amp, the open-loop gain at any frequency should exceed the required gain at that frequency by a comfortable amount.
