I was looking at the Brian May treble booster but it had too much break-up.  Any suggestions or mods for clean treble & upper mid boost pedal?

Thanks!

The simplest way is a opamp based amplification stage with an RC to lower the gain on low frequencies. Look at the TS9 gain stage, without the clipping diodes.

Maybe, a MicroAmp, modifying it in a treble booster, changing some components.

Electric Warrior

Colorsound Power Boost. It's got shitloads of headroom.

"Looking at"   Did you build it and try it?
Did you search this site or the web for for boosters
Part of the tone is from the input resistance and high pass at the beginning of the booster.

You can reduce the BMTB gain by removing the emitter resistor bypass cap or you could use a resistor in series with the bypass cap to set the gain between the 47uf and no 47uf bypass cap

I was checking out the demos of the Brian May pedal.

Thanks guys I wasn't sure which ckts were the cleanest ones, I was also thinking about one of the EQ circuits if it has enough headroom to handle the output of a Seymore Duncan EVH humbucker.
