Bad Bob Booster wiring

Hi, for my first project  I'm tryng to copy a Bad Bob Booster.

My problem is that I just can't figure out how the ground wiring is connected - see below picture showing my attempt.

Hi have checked this several times and it seems to me this is how it's connected. However, I just cannot find similar wiring layouts anywhere... is it correct?

currently, you have no connection between the dc jack ground/out jack/vol pot and, well, anywhere else. with the jacks screwed to a metal box, the sleeves will connect, but you don't really want to rely entirely on that.

I'm not good with dc socket connections, so I won't comment on the correctness of that.
