Yes, i do get Fuzz on lug 3 of the pot.

And the "in" of the schematic is connected to lug 3.

The IN of the schematic goes to C1.

C2 goes to fuzz pot lug 3.....

like they ^ say.

in your top shown picture, the yellow wire is connected to the output socket, the green wire is connected to the input socket. plugging these the opposite will have a deleterius effect, or no fuzz.

Just soldered it like you said.
Still no sound!

Jesus this project is driving me absolutely nuts!

The out of the schematic goes to lug 3 of fuzz pot.
I bread boarded the 2n5088 version last night and it worked.
ive had a close up look at your photos ad it seems fine. if your getting fuzz on lug 3 of the pot then you should be getting fuzz on lug 2 of the pot. did you probe it?

Yer nearly 3 years in and some projects still drive me nutz.
Take a chill pill. Enjoy the debugging and get used to it. I still spend more time debugging than building.
It's all part of the proccess

After i switched the "red" and "green" cable like you said, i got no fuzz at all.

Not even on the big solder cross anymore.

Yeah i know, I´m just frustrated, ´cause my first two builds worked perfectly on the first time!

Hey guys, i just tried to draw the circuit in paint, could you tell me if it´s correct?

The grey stuff is solder ;)

Looks ok to me
Double check the resistor values and capacitor values with the DMM.
With the guitar plugged into the stereo input jack, If your getting fuzz at the collector of the jellybean and at the output cap (100) then fuzz at lug 3 of the pot ( it looks according to the diagram/photo that you have it wired to lug 1 if that's the back of the pot)
I would run the audio probe over all the above mentioned and if you have no fuzz at lug 2 (pot wiper) then try changing the pot.
Also double check the diode polarity.  I can't remember without reconsulting the schematic which way round it is.
I hope this is helping

Great!

I´ll solder it tomorrow then. Hopefully it works.

If it does, then I most certainly know that there is a component damaged in the "old" one, because i had it that way before i switched the wires yesterday.

just switch the wires back quick and try it.

Jesus!!!

WTH happened?

I just switched back the wires LIKE I HAD THEM YESTERDAY, and now it works!

Thank you very much for your help!

Now i can finally wire the switch and encase that thing!

Greetings and thank you!

Ha I love it when a plan comes together. Enjoy it Mow.
Happy debugging for the future.
