Looking for enclosures used by J. Rockett

Hi guys!
It's my first post and first fuzz.
The fuzz I built works pretty well, I am satisfied with it. I am looking for an enclosure but I am bored with typical Hammond-type enclosures. I accidentally found J. Rockett Audio Designs (http://rockettpedals.com/) who use REALLY nice enclosures, take a look - http://www.bestguitareffects.com/wp-content/uploads/J-Rockett-WTF-Fuzz-Review-Best-Overdrive-Fuzz-Pedal-01.jpg:

They use it in most of their products. On their website they say it's 3" x 4.75" - I tried to use that info to find the enclosure but to no avail. I think I browsed every enclosure website (including mouser etc.) and there is no single enclosure that would look similar to this one.

As they are a boutique company, I highly doubt they are using custom made enclosures. Plus I think I saw that design somewhere else, but I can't remember where.

Do you guys have any idea where to get it? Any guidance or tips are highly appreciated!

Cheers,
Ros

I always figured they were repurposed really high quality sardine cans.

So, let's wait a little for their speaker cabinets ... high-quality beer cans?
Too old to rock'n'roll, too young to die

I am building a Tiny Giant with a 6" speaker in a big (5 liter) Sauerkraut can. Does it count?
Kirk Hammet invented the Burst Box.

ahem. It might be a horwood. they are an extruded aluminium tube for the body, with a pair of folded panels as top and bottom, self tappers to hold them in. the extrusion comes in diff lengths, and I suppose end-areas. I used to use exactly sardine can sized ones for my first fuzz faces.

it may be they are using an extra/replacement/better fitting panel for the top that you can see. after all, it is the best in the world.

Great, thanks for the info. Unfortunately, this Horwood company seems not to exist in the internet :-( I'm afraid they haven't realised it's XXI century already! How the time flies... There is not even an e-mail address to them. I only found them on couple of business websites like this - http://www.reverseaustralia.com/lookup/0397271887/

The picture you've given is located on eBay server - did you take it from some eBay listing? A link or any more information would be appreciated!

I would love to see that.

at 5$AU each, those boxes, for mine, are EXCELLENT value. even if they are the wrong size, you can take to them with a hacksaw, cut them in half, cut them slanty, cut them whatever, and you've got maybe now 2 boxes for 5 bucks. you WILL then need to knock up a new panel, but we all got sheds and do bending, no?

as far as Horwoods goes, I was under the impression they was from england. I haven't seen any of those boxes about for maybe 20 years, altronics used to sell them. and I also think they might be a standard sort of aluminium extrusion, you might even be able to find a length at the alcan/alcoa/alchin aluminium shop. then you're back at the hacksaw in the shed, but they will be cheap.
