My first FeCl spill after 15 years of using it!

I've got two small buckets of dry ferric, given to me years ago, sitting in the garage. last I looked at the pails/buckets, the plastic was looking a little iffy and brittle, so I haven't moved them for a long time. and I offer it free any time someone asks about ferric.

This was a relatively new drill press, maybe 6 months old, and nice and shiny.
I left an open container of etchant (Muratic/Peroxide) sitting overnight on my work bench about 5 feet away.
This is what I was greeted with the next morning:

OH crap! I just switched to using Muriatic / peroxide too! Works fast as hell but is a bit scary. Its all in the garage, but now I'm going to keep it on a BOTTOM shelf, in a deep plastic tray.
