Got a rare day to myself. Turned on Internet radio and cranked it loud. Discovering suff I'd never heard (mainly southern rock) and playing along. Hope the neighbours like it coz the widows are rattling.

look, just because I type the words, doesn't mean I know what they are. hairpin occured to me, as usual, in the shower, and reminded me of a book called "let stalk strine" from 1965, an spoken australian-english reference. it was written by Prof Afferbeck Lauder, and it took me 20-something years to get that joke.
