Peppermint Fuzz Clone issue......

This might be a noob question but im getting so confused here. Im cloning an Analogman Peppermint Fuzz and Im doing a trace but im getting so damn confused. I want the board to be layed out as close to the board Analogman uses.

Now, i know its pretty much a fuzz face but from what im gathering the circuit comes in through the trim pot (top right side of board), hits the 1uf input electrolytic cap (cap on the edge of the board), then into the emitter of GE 1 (bottom right, under C1), then to the base of GE 2.

but looking at the board it looks like the the base of GE 1 goes to a resistor (R 23), then the resistor goes to the collector of GE 2.

Im so confused. Can anyone explain this to me? Am I mixing up the transistors by misnumbering?

(I know this is for the Sun Face but they use the same board so R1 and R3 are not used on the Peppermint Fuzz)

Since they both use the same board, why not look at a diagram/board of the Sunface, and then look at the physical board differences between the two. That will probably help you sort out what you're looking for circuit-wise.

Thats what i was doing but it got me confused. I found a different diagram that i think is going to help me figure it out. :/

ok, Im pretty sure i got this. Can someone take a look and lmk if somethings missing? Its just the basic outline of the traces. Theres a few different photos in the album.

Ive read abunch of articles and cant determine what size trim to use. On the "sunface" board it has "trim 103" but then read on the Peppermint Fuzz its a 50k. Can anyone determine from the pictures? The schematics nd everything ive found is for the "sunface". If it cant be determined then whats a safe nd good value to use?

Looking at your pictures and the description of what it does, the trim pot is replacing the 33k collector resistor on the first transistor so 50k would make sense.
