I have a friend who wants to put an EQ in the FX loop of his amp.  The amp is a slo100.  He is going to split the fx send using a Boss LS-2 Switcher, then one output returns to the FX return and the other to the external eq then into a second power amp.

It seems to me that an op-amp buffer into the tone stack should work but I also seem to recall the values needed to be changed to maintain the correct frequencies.

You dont realy have to scale the tonestack, it'll work with the factory Slo values. The buffer is a good idea but probably not necessary either since the fx loop of the slo is buffered as well as the boss lc. If you want to scale, increase the caps x10 and decrease the resistance x10. That should get you close.
