Huminator voltage drop

Hey! So I just built the Huminator from Beavis Audio (http://www.beavisaudio.com/projects/Huminator/index.htm) and am having an issue I was hoping someone might be able to help me with. Well first of all, the voltage drops from 8.99v to 8.8v just from going through the huminator. I'm guessing this probably isn't a big deal, but then when I plug a pedal in after the huminator, the voltage drops to anywhere between 4 and 6 volts (depending on which pedal I plug in). I checked all my solder points and have it laid out just like in his diagram (http://www.beavisaudio.com/projects/Huminator/WiringInside.gif). Any idea what might be causing this? Thanks in advance!

with no pedal connected it should drop next to nothing

with a pedal connected, the drop depends on the current draw (obviously). 4 to 6V means the pedal would be pulling 30 - 50 mA which is a bit high (for most pedals) but not unheard of

you could double check you haven't put a 1k or 10k in place of the 100R?
