Just trying to get an idea of how big of an enclosure I should get for a Spider power supply. Gonna eventually build an actual pedal board and having power build in would be good.

Can't decide that until you know what's going inside. What transformer or transformers, what regulator circuit, what layout, how many indivdual outputs...

If you're using the Weber transformer you'll need a pretty big enclosure. I don't have it in front of me but the one I used was roughly 3" x 4"  x 6". And the transformer barely fit inside. The body of it touches the top and bottom of the case. And I had just enough room to fit about a 1" x 3" piece of perfboard with all the smoothing and rectification circuitry. That's why when I see commercially available multi-output power supplies described as "isolated" I take it with a grain of salt. It's really hard to fit all that in a small enclosure!

Thanks guys! Yeah, I'm looking at the Weber because it's easily found. I may try for a slightly larger enclosure then. Wanting to order everything at once so i can get it all boxed up quickly.

I bought a 125C from smallbear to house the Weber multitap transformer
Not done the build yet but looks like it'll fit just right

Would it be possible to use a smaller box like a 125b and mount the transformer on top? I saw the spider a while ago, but at that point I only had 3 pedals so my onespot was more than enough. I didn't put too much thought into it, but I do like my 125b enclosures.

I could but with something running 120v, I'd rather have everything inside something as a safety. If something fails in the transformer, the worst that could happen is everything goes to the safety ground and i pop a breaker.
