Ross Phaser/Ropez project at Tonepad...incorrect schematic? (paging Mark Hammer)

I have tried making my own Ross Phaser layout from the schematic posted on Tonepad twice and both times the projects wouldn't phase (no mods to the circuit). I first redrew the schematic and then created a layout in ExpressPCB, after which I ran the Netlist Error function and the layout came back 100%. However, built the built out boards don't work so now I'm wondering if the schematic is incorrect. I know there's the LM13600 version schematic over at Homewrecker but that one's very blurry.

1) Has anyone created their own working layout based on the Tonepad schematic?

2) Does anyone have a clean scan of the factory schematic?

Nope, it is 100% accurate, as is the layout.  Having said that, I've built a bunch of them, and some work, some don't.  Some have a great sweep, and some have a terrible sweep.  Wish I could figure out why.
