So I guess mammoth is phasing out the alpha pots they use to carry in favor of their own branded pots. I was just wondering if anyone has tryed the new pots, and have any impressions good, bad or indifferent? Any input is appreciated.

I haven't bought any, but I think they're still Alpha pots, just branded for Mammoth.  Mouser used to do the same thing.

I usually bought the Mammoth branded pots because they were cheaper. Yes, they are Alpha pots. So far they've worked fine.
One good thing about them is that they do not have the little "positioning" or "anti-rotation" tab on them... so you'll save about 1.68 seconds per pot not having to snap those things off!

They have worked great in the past four builds that Ive done!

In a recent order I got a mix of the two. One interesting aspect is that the Mammoth ones don't have that little tab on the control side of the pot which is designed as a wiggle-stopper. Since most DIYer's probably don't go to the trouble of engineering a notch into the exact correct location to accommodate that tab on the inside of their enclosures, and therefore snap off the tab (like I do) I suppose they just decided to omit that design feature. Saves one half-second step on assembly, thank goodness!

Strategy:
Look 2 posts above your post... my estimate in snapping of that tab was a little longer than yours  ;D

Some people use those tabs.  I am not those people.  I use star washers.  My drilling skills are a little rough for something that precise.
