hi
i'm looking for a schematic on memory storage for saving setting, for example if i want to build an overdrive pedal that has a volume gain tone controls , and i want to save some settings of sounds rather than each time i have to tweak the knobs to get specific setting , in this case if i'm on stage and i have let say three or more settings i just use a foot control to switch between each preset of setting . anyone can guide me through this?

thank you

Hi--

Other people may point you to circuit ideas for doing this with digital pots. However, before you roll-your-own, please check out what's available from Molten Voltage/PedalSync:

The MV-56 implements a lot of the logic and control that you will need, and the PedalSync site has lots of information on marrying the chip to other building blocks.

the mv-6 has only four analog inputs and four digital outputs i'm looking for minimum 8 a/inputs and minimum 8 d/outputs , for example the ADC 0808 has 8 Ain and 8 Dout if i could manage to connect to it other chips like memory and write switch a display and two switches for up and down for negativing the preset section
