Guys what is the difference between SAD1024 and SAD1024A? Can i use SAD1024A in Mistress?

armdnrdy

Nope!

It won't work! You should just send that worthless IC to me and I will destroy it for you!  :icon_lol:

Seriously...it will work fine.

I don't know the difference...maybe someone can pop in but...from what I have seen...the "A" is the "newer" version.
I just designed a new fuzz circuit! It almost sounds a little different than the last fifty fuzz circuits I designed! ;)

Never seen one that actually worked and did not have the "A" on the end.

The only ones I have seen without the "A" were knock offs  :-\

Here's a SAD1024 (no A) in a 1977 Electric Mistress.

Cool logo on that flipflop too, reminds me of the late Sun microsystems

I think the triple S is Solid State Systems - no longer with us.

What date marking system did Reticon use? That SAD1024 can't be 1965! The 4013 is very likely 1977.
