Hey guys,

I've been tossing around the idea of a true bypass looper build for a while, and I've seen some pictures of some loopers with 2 loops, and then a third switch that is a "Loop 1 + Loop 2"...whether or not it's in series or parallel, I'm not sure.  I imagine you could include a toggle switch that would switch between series and parallel.

Anyways, do any of you have any wiring diagrams or suggestions as to wire this up?  I've seen tons of diagrams for loopers, that's no big deal...but the combination switch is making my head spin.  I'm no good with figuring out these switches...any help would really be appreciated!

Thanks everyone!!

OK so I did some more reading and thinking...wouldn't what I'm wanting to do be pretty similar to an ABY box?  Only instead of A and B being amps, they'd be loops?  GGG has a passive ABY loop...my head is spinning after staring at their diagram for so long.  Would it be possible to modify that design and make A and B loops instead of amps?

Standard mixer? See The Adjusticator  http://www.geofex.com In mine, these return/input jacks go thru a stompswitch first.  You can use the other half of the op amp as a buffer/splitter, using the inverting input might be best. Consider RG's polarity reverser though, in case you have some pedals that are out of phase with others. Would this do?  I simply have the two stomps close enough to hit both at once or hit either individually.   You might need another mixer circuit if you want it in one stomp, while maintaining the ability to have them individually. A third mixer channel which selects a mix of the two. Do you want these loops in parallel or perhaps series? A series option can be done with a toggle switch that moves the input and output of loop B to a point in the loop A chain.  Another toggle could do the opposite.

That may do it...I'll have to do some research on the Adjusticator and see if it will fit the bill!  I was hoping for something passive, but I'm starting to think active may be the only way to go if I want to mix loops together.  I'm no good with switching, hah...thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
