I was just refilling my little liquid flux bottle from the big bottle. Get the tiniest amount on the threads of the bottle and good look getting the cap off. I should just use it as Loctite.  :icon_mrgreen:

It's modestly purified pine tree resin. Good adhesive. If you ever get it off again, you can clean the threads with paper towel and isopropyl alcohol. Ethyl and methyl would probably work too.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Some just went on the strap lock screws that attach to my guitar strap. Tired of those things coming off.

Don't leave flux on metal, it is a corrosive.  (That's actually what makes flux useful for soldering).  I definitely would not put it on my strap lock screws.

I often use silicone or latex caulking compound.
Works pretty well.

Odd, mine explicitly says non-corrosive. However, I was still aware of the possibility and not too worried about these strap locks.
