DC switching adapter hum elimination ?

Hi, I've bought a cheap DC 9V 1A 1000mA Switching Power Supply Converter (http://www.ebay.com/itm/310889353853?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)
I was wondering whether or not I could power my pedal with it...
..the answer is NO, it's really NOISY.
is there any mod I can do on it the let the hum go away from this supply ?
