SuperFly Special prebuild thoughts and questions (REVERB?)

Hey folks. For a while now I've been digging up allot of info about building a small scale amp "desk amp" for my workbench. I'm always between projects and this one has been buzzing around my head for a while. Once I found the Superfly page I was sold on digging my fingers into this tube project. Although I am discouraged with my lack of knowledge and experience in the field. I however will continue to research until I can comfortably grasp the physics and dangers when working on these types of projects.

Now I'm starting this thread in hope that some of you awesome fellas could talk about ways to go about such a project. First off I think I should build the SuperFly Special and learn as much as I possibly could from it before prototyping a submini reverb amp on my own. On the Superfly page (I think?) this link was presented. I believe it shows submini versions of some popular reverb amps although a little too much for me to comprehend at the moment.

SuperFly Special Schematic
I love this schematic and the final product(s) by frequencycentral. Awesome work! But I'm a little nervous about it. That's why I'm holding off buying the parts. Also - $40 for that 125a transformer... Blehh.

Any ideas on how to go about adding a reverb section to the Superfly Special? Also if anyone can, please talk about the physics and dangers of such projects. I WILL NOT dig my fingers into anything dangerous without fully understanding precaution and procedure.

I will be collecting parts to prototype soon. Allot of prototyping. I haven't designed a circuit myself yet and I'm still a little unsettled with working with tubes & transformers. Taking every precaution necessary. I am very anxious to learn.

I'd like to keep this thread open and I hope to see some input from experienced or curious persons.

First I'll do up a superfly-like circuit and build from there.
