Hi there,

I frequently whined about my problems that I can't find  a suitable auto-swell circuit. I tried the Slow Gear, the Gator and even had my tough time with an EHX Attack/Decay.

Unfortunately I found a solution for 24.99 EUR at Thomann: the Harley Benton NG-100.

But for several reasons (foremost vanity, I guess) I want it in a DIY Version. So I tried my first pedal trace on this circuit. Now, I came up with a schematic (my first, so please be polite) but I guess it is hard to read and most certainly flawed in one or more ways.

So I would kindly ask for your help in converting this schematic into something legible and buildable, especially regarding a true bypass conversion (which parts are superfluous?) and probable errors I made tracing the pcb.

To those willing to help I'll gladly send the diptrace files.

Thanks very much in advance!

Cheers, Lars

Oh sorry, I thought the photobucket link would suffice.

Here is the schematic as pdf and png respectively.

If you need to refer to the pictures I took of the pcb you'll find a complete set in the photobucket library: http://s1244.photobucket.com/user/lars-musik/library/NG-10

I really hope you can help me with that because it sounds really good and would make a nice alternative to the Paia Gator. I traced it as close as possible to the original, even when things like the unconnected pin 6 of the CA3080 connecting to pin 1 gave me headaches. The lack of electronic background on my part however is mirrored in this schematic.

Hope to hear from you and many thanks in advance!
