v. nice, Kary! it's cool to see this done well, because i considered doing something similar in a really poor way last year. i basically melted different types of plastic along the edge of a soldering iron, but it was just impractical in a few ways. i just use board-mounted pots & bolts now. that 3D-printer plastic (i don't know much about it) seems just the right consistency to allow for a good balance of flexibility & sturdiness. also, kudos for being so precise with the measurements.

here's a pic from my experiments:
Recovered guitar player.
Electronics manufacturer.

Absolutely beautiful. I now must have one of those machines. I hold you responsible ;P

See, ^that is the coolness gene we all share, finding a way, always finding away no matter what. :) AKA if you remember the show...

We should come up with a generic design that fits different size boards and different heights. Perhaps We could use the customizer on thingiverse and let people set their own dimensions.  But then there's that thing about needing a 3D printer.
