diy fuzz problem

i do this wiring on the jacks but i could not found the ground on the pcb.I have sound when i have the switch off and when i have it on i have a sound like too low gain volume fuzz .choul some one help me?

dennis - can you post photos of the circuit you built? then we might see where you may have gone wrong.
