GGG BSIAB2 Contour mod question

Hi, newbie here. I'm building the BSIAB2 (my 3rd build) and got the contour mod kit with it. Can someone explain how the mod is done?   I found a pic online (built by someone else) but it's hard to tell by the pic.  GGG instructions say to replace the R7 with a 5k6 and 100k pot.  It looks like the 5k6 is standing on its end and both leads are soldered into one hole on the PCB?  Can someone explain?  Thanks!
