I've been studying the Boss MT-2 Metal Zone pedal. With a bit of help from a few of you over on another thread, we've got the details pretty much worked out and I've posted the results:

http://electricdruid.net/boss-mt-2-metal-zone-pedal-analysis/

This goes through each stage in the pedal, looking at the component value choices and the frequency responses for each stage. For many parts, I simulated the circuit and plotted frequency response graphs so you can really see what's going on.

Any comments or corrections welcomed.

Enjoy!

Brilliant reading and for a novice like me, an education.
To the extreme, I rock a mic like a vandal.
Light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle.
