(Finally got an ehx adapter,  didn't trust leaving a battery in the SS)

A couple of my all time favorites:

Knob fix,
Back then being the genius I am I decided to super glue a wooden match stick to the top of the large 1" black "Rate" knob.
(So I could turn the knob with my foot, lol, hum, lol was not known back then, lol)
Said glue did not work, or it worked so well it ate a big blemish into the knob.
I have looked for a replacement, but never found one.
Today I decided to use some diamond lap compound, 600, 1600, 14K grits.
Made a dowel to fit the hole and mounted it in the drill press.
Worked well. (Better than that super glue)
So now I have the original knob.
