just a public service announcement  :)   the may queen is an excellent overdrive- i used the schematic from rrunoff groove.

just a teeny bit too trebly for me, in 'stock' form....changed the film caps and the electro to a larger value and it is outstanding.

I should probably look at ROG more often, the few things I've built from there have been brilliant.

Is it fair to say it's amongst the best /better resources for our type then?

yeah, they're ok, i guess.  but i'm certainly no expert! -lol  not a whole lot of projects there....but whats there does seem pretty cool.

i was pleasantly surprised w/ the M Queen.  Great circuit.   you should check out the "layouts gallery" here on the forum- (link at top)

TONS of stuff to look at!

Hi

I've built the May Queen a few times, and was curious as to what you changed and what values you used?

I've also built the May I?, which is basically the May Queen with tone controls and to get a good Brian May sound, you need to have the treble backed way off.
To the extreme, I rock a mic like a vandal.
Light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle.
