Holy Crap! You were dead on right Dean. That track above c26 was broken. Made a solder bridge, put in all the rest of my components and crossed my fingers, and suddenly I had some infinite repeats happening. Thank you so much for all your help. I can't wait to box this sucker up and add it to my pedal board.
I wish you great luck in fixing your's too Willie. I'll pass along whatever I knowledge I can.

Hi!
Do you have a picture of that track? maybe something similar has happened to my board too.  Looks like someone has used a knife or something in the copper right by the same place on my board too.
I'm glad you made your board work!!!

I circled it in yellow.

This is right above c26

Zultan

I just measured the components from your fist post, and got the same results!!!
the same place was cut on my board when i bought it, but i  made a solderbridge like you on the same place. Now i get correct voltages everywhere!!

I have to connect my jacks and pots to test!

dstahl

crossing my fingers for you.

Zultan

Can I connect the jacks only (no pots) to test?
willy

Zultan

NOW i have sound from in to out! but no echoes yet.mus conec t pots i think

Congrats Willy. I'm happy to hear you got yours up and running too.
I sent a mail to GGG alerting them to this potential problem w/ the pcb's. Maybe it only happened to a handful of them.
Anyway.
Thanks again Dean for all your help in solving this.

I apologize profusely to you guys for your trouble on this issue and you too Dean for taking your time away on this.

I'll make sure that doesn't happen again in the future with any of these PCBs.  Zultan and David, send me a PM and I'll see if we can work out some way that I can make it up to you for all your trouble.

Thanks,
JD

Excellent - both of you got your boards working, and found the underlying reason!  :) The only thing better than playing with a delay like this, is to play with a delay like this with an ebow.   :icon_twisted:

Hi JD, thanks for reacting so quickly. Did any other boards go out with this track cut?

Zultan

Don't have to make up to me. I learned a lot from from this. Been playing and drinking all night and now I'm about to design a great theme for the box. will post pictures later.
Best Regards

a drunk and happy guitarplayer with endless and possible amp-killing delay. (have to be careful with the feedbacks:))) :icon_razz: :icon_mrgreen:

Thanks.

Hello, Are there any docs with pin-out voltages for the SHecho?
I just completed mine and am getting a constant noise repeating even without any input. I do get guitar repeats when input and the pots all seem to do as intended. I have audio traced the signal path to the HT8955A. The noise begins at this chip. The chip is from Hong Kong(and only 2 of 5 received work) and I am waiting for replacements from Small Bear. Hoping it's bad chips.
