First, thanks to the community for suggesting that I leave the mechanical layout of this enclosure more open and less prescriptive about where things go. Sales have been slow, but consistent, which is pretty much what I expected; people need to figure out what to do with a new toy. Here is one possibility:

The board is 29 rows high by 33 wide, lots of room for fairly complex builds. Fits five 9mm pots. If you want a battery drawer, the horizontal type is short enough to leave room above it for standard radial electrolytics. I counter-bored two holes for screws to hold studs; if you are painting, I would suggest just filling the counter-bore areas with Bondo before priming. I don't know whether powder-coating over them would be problematic. If this platform takes off (!), it would not be problem to get done a run that has studs riveted where the screws are; then no issue with powder-coating.

The 3PDT stomper is a low-profile type that I just put up for sale. I am glad that this became available, as it fits exactly in the "well". Though if you want, there is clearly room for soft-touch momentary + control module.

I'm going to build a BMP into this as proof-of-concept. Comments welcome, especially from the engineering department.

I wonder how much of a mechanical clang the sheet metal box will have when you actuate the stompswitch?  One good thing about the cast boxes is that they are quiet, mechanically.  It may work if you can damp it somehow.
