Hi there people! I'm a long time lurker here, I've made quite a few pedals based layouts I find online, but now I'm building something where i need to know the off-board wiring myself. I found quite a few online for if youre using a power jack+a battery, with a TRS input jack to turn off power when it's unplugged, but I'm making this one with just a power jack and only TS jacks. I studied how the 3pdt works and used my knowledge of electronics to make this diagram (yes, on paint  :icon_redface:) which I believe will work, but i just want to get it verified by all of you experts and such. thanks!

As it stands, your pedal will be very quiet (it won't power up!).  The wire from your LED needs to share the 9V lug on the power jack.  And then the ground lug on the power jack needs to join your star-ish grounding at the in/out jacks.  Take a look at Tonepad's offboard wiring documentation for a pretty comprehensive treatment of, um, offboard wiring.  Well done for using MS Paint, btw.  That must have hurt...  ;)   And welcome!

You've almost got it apart from how the LED is connected. Have a look at this example if you don't want the battery just leave it out and use a TS jack for the input.

Ok, now that makes sense, I now see were my problem was. Thanks!

Thanks! I wasn't quite aware that the big Lug on the power jack was the ground lug, I thought the power Jack was grounded by the enclosure (which makes no sense since the power Jack is plastic!) what you said makes perfect sense, thank you! Yes, it was quite awful making the diagram in paint XD (I should have just used illustrator, don't know why I didn't lol).
