Hello!
I'm working on a project for which i would need overdrive characteristinc of an 12AX7 tube. I found very little actual measured data on the internet. A datasheet does provide with saturation characteristic, but i can nowhere find what happens above 0V, in the grid current-limiting region. Spice models are useless as far as this is concerned. I know some of you must have been doing dsp amplifier sims, so the data must be out there, so any information, resource or anything would be greatly appreciated.

Hey man, here's something that may help you a bit:

It's an article about 12AX7 triode characteristics and how someone can emulate it with solid state devices. It's written by Eric Pritchard and probably has commercial purposes since he does not get into details, but it's a good source for understanding harmonic structure of a triode particularly beyond linear region and probably a good source for writing digital programs...
Life is too short for being regretful about it.

Thank you very much for both resources. Sajy_ho, I've been looking for that paper for a while since it's not on Pritchard's official site anymore. For further reference, this was the paper that helped me the most: http://recherche.ircam.fr/pub/dafx11/Papers/76_e.pdf
