Boss SD-1w

Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between the SD-1 and the SD-1w.
Is it just swapping a few caps and diodes, or is there more voodoo going on?

They switched the op-amp to a "discrete" version - probably FET based, not unlike what you'd see in the Blues Driver or DS-2. I haven't seen that anyone has traced it yet (it's SMD so not a walk in the park) but definitely more than a couple caps and diodes!

it's a 'discrete' design because it's part of their "waza" line, so they have to throw in some HI-FI boutique-y BS to sell them at a higher price
